Utage is a person of, textually, undisclosed race; most people in her world have animal traits of some kind or another, but she is notable in having a pair of tiger's ears atop her head, but also a tail that is scaly and smooth to the touch like a snake's body, along with fairly sharp looking nails. Anyone familiar with Japanese folklore or their setting's equivalents is free to recognize her as having traits associated with a nue, but she won't be able to shed any light on the significance of that herself.
She also has Oripathy, a disease contracted from particular contact with magic rocks unique to her setting that ultimately causes the person in question to explode into magic rocks, but her case has yet to show any external symptoms, so this is more a note for people with doctorvision or anything to that nature. Anyone that attempted imaging tests would see the outlines of her internal organs have become blurry, with dark spots in certain areas, and opening her up would display similar discoloration. Much of the rock particulate is concentrated in her bloodstream, however, so this is not recommended.
